Join us for Musical Explorations - seasonal gatherings where we dive deep into different musical worlds. Each month focuses on a different theme or instrument, but always with the same spirit: curiosity, playfulness, and connection through sound.
What Happens
We gather in the WebRTC studio. Instruments appear - guitars, keyboards, flutes, voices, electronics. We explore together.
Each gathering might focus on:
- A particular instrument or sound
- A musical tradition or style
- Improvisation techniques
- Songwriting as a group
- Sound meditation and listening
- Musical games and experiments
We take breaks to share what we're discovering. We laugh at our experiments. We celebrate the unexpected beauty that emerges.
Who This Is For
This exploration is for you if:

- You want to explore different musical traditions

The Philosophy
Music as maintenance mode exploration - not about getting better, not about performing, not about products. Just the ongoing discovery of what happens when we listen and create together.
The robot caretaker watches over our musical adventures, reminding us that exploration is the point, not arrival.
Different explorations will emerge based on who's there and what calls to be explored. Some might be structured workshops. Others pure improvisation. All will be held in curiosity and care.
